Yesterday I had a chance to wander around London, I wanted to be a tourist for the day and so took the chance to go to as many activities as I could including The British Museum, V & A, The Science Museum, Climbing Monument, Walking along the Thames, Shopping in Oxford Street, and taking a trip to Harrods.

Harrods makes the claim that its meant to be the best and most luxourious shopping experience, although I just feel that its John Lewis with the prices tripled. But never the less I wanted to try out the cakes.

I bought myself 2 cupcakes and a Strawberry Cheesecake. The cupcakes were disappointing, not much flavour and poorly decorated. The cupcakes from Brys Cupcakes or the Meehans Cakery are far superior.

The cheesecake was sublime, incredible base, lovely consistency and rich strawberry flavour. Far far far superior to the rubbish cheesecake you get at Patisserie Valerie. Currently it ranks 2nd on my best Cheesecake scale, 1st going to Mr Li’s wedding and 3rd to the Cake Cafe in Bath.

Thought like all reviews it is subjective, so I may be forced to visit Fortnum & Mason or the Selfridges food court to test theres.
